Congratulations to the Social Finance team for being awarded a “Special Commendation” in the category of Achievement in Basic Needs Financing at the FT/IFC Sustainable Finance Awards. It is absolutely fantastic to win in a category that included some brilliant initiatives such as Yellow Pepper – the leading provider of mobile financial services in Latin America. The overall winner in our category was One Acre Fund Kenya whose innovative approach to lending and repayment helps over 50,000 smallholder farmers.
